Intentional living is a practice of making thoughtful, examined choices. It involves becoming aware of the tendency to live life on autopilot and giving thought to the possibility that the development of social and emotional skills has been left to chance.
Counseling is a learning process that begins with the nurturing of self-awareness. By challenging the conditioned responses of autopilot and overtly identifying and becoming schooled in the skills we have yet to learn, we can live a life that is more purposeful.
